It is a complex set of features built to run on a windows enviroment with MS SQL as the foundation.
Mediateket represents Cinegy as distibutor and system integrator in Scandinavia and the main target is post production and playout, but the product range extends to a much wider range.
The Mediateket Cinegy database
The database being the foundation of Cinegy and the customisation of that for each individual project is the main task that takes resources. Mediateket will have a core database templates created and maintained by Mediateket to be the default structure for "default" installs where the client has no real preferences or demands.
To limit the paths users can explore and make this more managable for support the database is stripped down to support the features we see as fit and we re-enable as needed. A good start is either the Cinegy template, BBC dublin core or making one from start (not likly).
The database template shall cover:
Branding the database
Mediateket logos and terminologi shall be embedded so that this is clearly a Mediateket solution.
